My Pitch

Pitch: 

I want to create a mens lifestyle magazine that targets a middle market aspirational audience of 16-25. I will incorporate topics such as sport and style for example, while also addressing politics of the country and current affairs. I will do multiple photo shoots in various locations to ensure i have adequate pictures for the magazine. I will do articles on 2 different sports, more than likely football and boxing or UFC. It will appeal to the target audience as premier league football is very popular and has been spoken about a lot. I will also do an article on Tyson Fury as he is a very popular heavyweight boxer who had his last fight very recently after being the heavyweight champion of the world. My other articles will be on a certain classic car show, documenting the happenings there and a celebrity who I believe has good fashion that will appeal to the target audience. 

My accompanying website will reflect the zeitgeist of the magazine and feature the stories and articles in it. I will attract the target audience by giving them what they will aspire to have such as expensive cars and watches. The website will feature the stories in the magazine but go into less detail on them. There will also be an exclusive story only on the website more than likely about a celebrity that people in the target audience will have heard of such as Ed Sheehan.
